Brigida Bacienė has over 15 years of legal experience in the areas of Employment Law, Data Protection, Intellectual Property Law, Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT), Competition Law, and Dispute Resolution.
She advises clients on dismissals, employee relocation, recruitment of foreigners, development and implementation of internal company policies, carries out employment law compliance audits, conducts training sessions in employment law, and represents employers in lawsuits involving unfair competition.
In 2021, Brigida Bacienė received the Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) credential from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and passed the Internal Auditor exam in 2023. She conducts GDPR compliance audits, provides data protection officer services, assists with data breach management, and advises on other data protection and cybersecurity matters.
Much of her attention is focused on the legal issues pertaining to information technology (IT) systems, artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, computer software, and IT services. She advises clients on the development and sale of their IT solutions and IT services (SaaS, SLA, Software Development/Transfer Agreements, etc.).
Brigida actively participates in conferences, conducts training sessions, and otherwise shares her knowledge with clients and the general public.
