GLIMSTEDT Gives the Best Master’s Thesis Award for Seven Years in a Row

At the solemn Master‘s Degree Ceremony held at the Church of St. John the Baptist and St. John the Evangelist on 17 June 2011, GlLIMSTEDTcongratulated Vilnius University LL.M graduates and handed out the Best Annual Master’s Thesis Award.
 
The main prize for the Best Master’s Thesis is 3 000 Litas. Winners of the second place and the third place are given Certificates of Honour.
Selected by a committee comprising professors of the Faculty of Law and representatives of the Firm as the Best Master’s Thesis 2011 has been:
1st Place Winner – “Non-Registered VAT Payer’s Rights to VAT Deductions”
2nd Place Winner – „Unfair Commercial Practices in B2C Relationship: Legal Regulation and Application Issues”
3rd Place Winner – „Invalidation of Shareholders’ Decisions“ 
A candidate to this annual award may be any full-time or distance education student of the Vilnius University Faculty of Law who writes his/her Master’s Thesis on business law chooses the subject relevant to business participants presents and defends his/her Master’s Thesis in any department of the VU Faculty of Law
