GLIMSTEDT advised Iron Wolf Capital on investments into UAB Sprana, a manufacturer of industrial spectroscopes

Iron Wolf Capital, a venture capital fund, has invested EUR 570 000 in UAB Sprana, a manufacturer of industrial spectroscopes. Sprana is the only company in Lithuania and our region who is engaged in applying spectroscopy to carry out the analysis of industrial processes. The company’s activities involve the design and development of spectroscopic analytical instruments and calibration methods targeted at the analysis of industrial processes observed on production lines and the ongoing research in this field.

“We’re delighted with one more investment into a unique Lithuanian team. The capacity to efficiently collect data remains one of the key conditions in the (r)evolution of artificial intelligence, thus a Google Fitbit acquisition deal in billions, announced recently, demonstrates the value of such capacity. Industry is no exception as technologies developed by Sprana allow real-time collection and analysis of key production parameters leading to product quality improvement, process safety assurance and cost reduction. We believe that Sprana will become one of the stars visible in the Industry 4.0 trend”, says Kasparas Jurgelionis, a Partner at Iron Wolf Capital, to Verslo žinios. Read more (in Lithuanian) >>>.
