Aon Baltic has acquired 100 percent of the leading insurance broker company in the Baltic States – Balto Link, which shares has been sold by 11 employees of the company.
During the merger of the two insurance brokerage market giants, GLIMSTEDT advised Balto Link and provided the client with comprehensive legal assistance in Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. Aon Baltic has been advised by one of the world’s largest law firms, DLA Piper, assisted by Sorainen.
The GLIMSTEDT team included partner Andrius Ivanauskas, associate partner Mindaugas Jablonskis, senior associates Michailas Molis, Edvard Gasperskij, Jurgita Zakarauskiene, associates Domantas Gudonis and Jonas Šalna. The legal team in Latvia was led by partner Agnese Medne, in Estonia – by partner Leho Pihkva.
