Denmark-based Kyocera Unimerco A/S, the Kyocera Group’s subsidiary in charge of manufacturing and sales of industrial cutting tools, has acquired 100 percent ownership of Garsdalo Medienos Technologija UAB in Lithuania. The transaction, which was closed on 27 April 2015, was the first acquisition made by the Kyocera Group in Eastern Europe.
Garsdalo Medienos Technologija UAB is a specialised Lithuania-based manufacturer and distributor of woodworking tools. The company’s shares have been sold by Ole Garsdal, CEO and founder of the company, who has been cooperating with Kyocera Unimerco A/S since the foundation of Garsdalo Medienos Technologija UAB in 1998.
In the share sale transaction, the seller was represented by GLIMSTEDT and Keystone Advisers, an independent financial advisory firm.
