Giedrė Rimkūnaitė-Manke to co-chair the Central Eastern European Membership Committee at ITechLaw

Giedrė Rimkūnaitė-Manke, Associate Partner at GLIMSTEDT, was appointed as Co-Chair of the Central Eastern European Membership Committee at ITechLaw (International Technology Law Association) and will co-chair this committee until summer 2015 together with colleague from Poland, Maciej Gawronski, Bird & Bird Warsaw Managing Partner.

The mission of the Central Eastern European Membership Committee is to develop and foster a dialogue and encourage members of the Central Eastern European region to interact as a member with other ITechLaw Committees, as well as the broader legal community on matters of common interest, including the identification of IT significant developments in the region and reporting them to the different and corresponding Substantive Law Committees.

ITechLaw is a worldwide network of technology lawyers, acting since 1971 and having about 1,000 members from more than 60 countries. GLIMSTEDT has been an active member of this network since 2010. Earlier this month Giedrė Rimkūnaitė-Manke was appointed as ITechLaw Local Representative for Lithuania (Baltic Region). Hele Karja, Senior Associate at GLIMSTEDT Tallinn office, is ITechLaw Board member, Local Representative for Estonia (Baltic Region) and co-chair of ITechLaw e-Commerce Law Committee.
