The board of BACC comprises Egidijus Bernotas, the Managing Partner at the law firm GLIMSTEDT, and John Kissane, the Partner at the New York law firm Watson, Farley & Williams, both with extensive business contacts in Lithuania and the United States, as well as by Inga Klimašauskienė, a New York-based associate partner at the law firm GLIMSTEDT who will take the lead in Chamber activities and will strive to ensure that it becomes the main facilitator and mediator for entrepreneurs in Lithuania and other Baltic countries when looking for contacts and seeking to enter and invest in the US market.

According to Inga Klimašauskienės, the Baltic American Chamber of Commerce will encourage Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian business investments in the US and vice versa, organize training sessions to its members and pay special attention to their migration-related matters. Enterprises, business organizations and private persons are invited to get involved in the activities of the Chamber.

Support for the Chamber’s activities has been expressed by Julius Pranevičius, the Consul General of the Republic of Lithuania in New York, which plays a key role in dealing with BACC-related issues that require support of the Lithuanian diplomats and consulate. Viktoras Sidabras, the former US diplomat and public figure, has also contributed to the BACC business, i.e. his contribution and involvement are of a great importance in maintaining relations with New York authorities and other associations. The Baltic American Chamber of Commerce already has on its agenda, to make a presentation on investment opportunities to the delegation of the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists at the end of March and to organize similar events to the Latvian and Estonian communities, in order to show considerable investment opportunities not only in New York but throughout America.
