Lithuanian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (LT VCA) established the Legal and Regulatory Committee at the end of the last year. GLIMSTEDT associated partner Andrius Ivanauskas became the Chairman of this Committee.
The Committee is a collegial advisory body to LT VCA. Its members are recognized Lithuanian experts working mainly with legal and tax matters. The Committee will be responsible for monitoring of legal and regulatory matters, having impact on the Lithuanian private equity and venture capital market. It will also communicate with the participants of private and venture capital, relevant institutions, as well as with local and foreign partners. Given the rapid growth of the ecosystem of the Lithuanian private equity and venture capital, the Committee‘s main goal will be to actively contribute to the improvement of legal and tax system relating to implementation of venture capital tools and thereby create favourable conditions for market development and setting up of new Lithuanian and foreign venture capital funds.
