After the debates held by Bernotas & Dominas GLIMSTEDT, proposals to carry out compulsory renovation and to encourage the use of biofuels

In the conference held in Vilnius the local energy experts, heating suppliers and lawyers encouraged the state to promote more actively housing renovation and the use of biofuels for heat production. Bernotas & Dominas GLIMSTEDT attempted to depoliticize the debates over the issue.

One of the most constructive proposals on how to save money on energy costs at personal and national level put forward at the conference entitled The Restructuring of the Energy Sector: Issues and Opportunities was to change the housing renovation model and to shift to renewable energy sources.
