Heads the Firms’ M&A and Corporate Law Group. Has almost two decades of experience in advising local and international clients on various legal matters. Has been engaged in many significant cross-border transactions carried out in Lithuania from the early 1990s, including privatization, mergers and acquisitions, real estate projects, etc. Some examples of major transactions include:
Advising on the structuring and incorporation of two venture capital funds established in Lithuania under the JEREMIE initiative launched by the European Investment Fund
Advising on the successful acquisition of the Akropolis Shopping and Entertainment Centre in Kaunas, one of the biggest real estate acquisitions in the Baltics
Advising on the acquisition and subsequent merger of two major Lithuanian breweries
Advising on the sale of a major Lithuanian DIY wholesale and retail operator to a strategic Finnish investor
Acting for the fund manager of the EBRD‘s Baltic Post-Privatization Fund for Lithuania
Advising on a number of equity and debt investment projects undertaken in Lithuania and Belarus by the EBRD, the IFC and other international financial institutions
